1st Empire Travel Kit

Important travel kit that belonged to a senior officer. Oval shaped box in solid walnut. Brass handles, plate and lock.
Interior covered in red morocco, gilded with small iron.
All accessories are made of solid silver, ivory, porcelain and crystal cut into diamond points. A bottle retained a remnant of perfume.
The lid contains a writing pad held by a small hook and which is extracted using an ingenious system of springs. It unfolds to reveal a green interior.
The bottom of the box has a mirror. This is organized into different levels of accessories: toiletries, writing kits, cutlery, cup, saucer, teapot, etc., etc.
Title mark Au premier coq. Master goldsmith's mark (FDF?) to be identified.
This box is in excellent condition and all its accessories are original with some missing items.
