Stappers' works have been sold at auction several times, with realized prices of up to 12,650 $ (price including buyer's premium), depending on the size and support of the work. The record price for this artist at an auction is USD 12,650 for "Bouquet in a White and Gold Vase" sold at Sotheby's New York, USA (see attachment). He was known for his floral still lifes.
