The beginning of the manufacturing of Ghom carpets in Iran took place in this city around 1920/1930.
It is to the initiative and perseverance of the knotters and merchants of Kashan that we owe these wonders.
Our model adopts the criteria of good quality Ghoum, knotted with a magnificent quality of wool.
We also find a number of similarities in the medallions and borders with the Kashan type.
Our model has velvet and selvedges in very good condition.
Initially the manufacturing in Iran of these beautiful, very resistant carpets is certainly recent.
But the skilled and precise knotters as well as the “Ostads” cardboard designers have imposed their know-how thanks to the perfection of their work and the breadth of the range of designs and colors.
# Second holiest city in Iran, 150 km from Tehran, Ghom is a major theological center.
The knot used is the Persian knot tied very tightly on very good quality fine wool.
The decorations of plants, flowers, intertwined plants and animals, as well as the use of wool mixed with silk are done regularly.
Each type of design remains stylized and the use of colors on the ghoum is always very harmonious

The whole offers the impression of a rigorous Persian garden, classic of the Persians.
