Very beautiful sketch from the very beginning of the 17th century, Italy. Gray ink wash, heightened with white gouache, on outlines in ocher/red ink. Probably religious scene. in a perfect state. Indications of vanishing lines, numerous silhouettes, beautiful sketch of a child holding a dog on the left, turbaned men in the center, and on the left. Frame carved in gilded wood 17th century. Recent gilding.
