- Italian wall console in carved basswood and oak, partially gilded and painted in imitation of marble, 18th century.

The polychromy includes reds, greens and gold. It helps to read the different parts of this console while offering, through the juxtaposition of these shades, pleasant color contrasts. The concave part of the sculpture receives a stylized motif of acanthus leaves, finely sculpted and gilded which follows the curved shape and then rises a little higher.
