"Moscow "
Moscow seen from the Kaluga road drawn by Édouard de Montulé during his trip to Russia between 1821 and 1823. Edouard de Montulé (1792-1823), after participation in the last Napoleonic campaigns, he devoted himself to travel first in America from the North and the West Indies then in Egypt and Russia from where he brought back stories which were successfully published. The view of Moscow, engraved by Paul Legrand, is framed in a 20th century carved wooden frame and measures 17.5x25 cm. It has stains due to humidity.
