Paperolles Reliquaries Decorated With Arches And Columns - 19th Century

The main relics are those presented in three silver medallions.
These are Saint Philomena Virgin and Martyr (cult from 1805 only), Saint Vincent Ferrier and Saint Francis Xavier. Two authentic ones are announced at the base of the columns. We carefully extracted one. In 1844 he attested to the presence of ex-ossibus relics of Saint Philomena.
On either side of the central arch are stylized crowns in glasswork welcoming in particular relics of the Virgin but also of John of the Cross, Doctor of the Church - Peter - Benoit - Innocent - Sébastien and Louis.
Dimensions with gilded wooden frame of 43 cm by 32. Good condition - some logical detachments.
This large reliquary cannot be sent by post, due to the traditional fragility of rolled paper assemblies.
