Vase representing a fisherman(?) on a boat, one side of which ends with the mouth of a predatory fish(?). The container may have been used to hold liquids and as a whistle. Made from ceramic fired under oxygen-restricted conditions to produce a black surface, which was then polished.
Length 20.5 cm, width 7.5 cm, height 13.8 cm.
Peru, Chimu culture, 10th-15th century.
