Copper Jug (marked) - Eastern France, 18th Century

COQUEMAR in slightly potbellied copper with short foot with corded decoration, hemmed cylindrical collar, hemispherical lid and rolled thumb handle. Crowned C hallmark used from 1743.
Height: 26.2 cm.
EASTERN France (?), Mid-18th century.

Good condition, a small accident to the lid tab and part of the thumbpiece replaced, are however reported.
Control or master's marks are extremely rare to see on brassware
