"Beautiful Large Daum Vase With Mimosas, Belle Etoile Glassware, Perfect, Era Galle Art-deco Galle 1920"
Pretty large vase decorated with mimosa branches by the Belle Etoile glassworks, managed by Paul Daum near Lunéville. Pretty and rare model decorated with falling branches of enameled mimosas on an orange cloudy background. Nice contrast with these little yellow balls and these finely enameled foliage. Typical of the Arrt-Deco period. Signed "Lorrain", perfect, 32 cm, circa 1925. For the record, this signature is indeed a Daum signature. Paul Daum, to diversify production, took the helm of Belle Etoile glassworks (near Luneville and Nancy) to develop a series of more accessible pieces but still with the quality of the parent company. Pierre d'Avesn also worked there. We thus find the signature Lorrain, Mado, Moda, Lysies coming from this glassware. Beautiful art-deco vase, excellent value for money. Note that I have a pair (see last photos), the future buyer will be offered the optional possibility of acquiring the second under the same conditions.
