Travel cabinet, early 18th century.
Veneered with purple wood on three sides, the spruce body is mounted with dovetails.
It opens on the front with 10 drawers, all fitted with a lock whose entrances have been reduced to insert pull buttons.
A key allows the opening and closing of each drawer.
One of the locks is not original.
The whole rests on four small turned violet wood feet.
The piece of furniture is in perfect condition. It was restored in our art restoration cabinetmaking workshop in La Rochelle, its finish is a waxed finish.
