Mosaic is composed of small glass tiles, produces from glass blown in Venice, then transformed into long rods and then cut by the goldsmith who creates the micromosaic.
The mosaic is then placed on the glass base with a kind of gold particle powder, called aventurine, which was very fashionable around the mid-19th century. ù
Mosaic has no breakages or restorations.
