"Napoleon III Tea Box"
We present this pretty Napoleon III tea box circa 1850-1870. The medallion in the middle of the lid is in gilded brass, the body and the center of the lid are in cedar burl, the edges and corners are in rosewood. A small brass ingot mold surrounds the perimeter. The compartments are original and the small interior lids are made of rosewood with a rosewood fillet on each as well as the solid rosewood buttons. State of exception, key and lock, the latter works. Weight 910 g (E24)
