"Liquor Cellar In Blackened Wood, Second Empire Period"
Liqueur cellar in blackened wood and glass, revealing a complete crystal kit engraved with foliage scrolls presented in a gilded bronze basket. The box resting on four ball feet has brass threads on the main face and on the top framing two glasses revealing the interior. The glasses are tulip-shaped and the decanters each have a faceted stopper (one decanter is slightly different from the other three). Beautiful state of conservation for this typical Second Empire object.
