Important signed hereke silk rug, of Turkish origin (Asia Minor) circa 1965. Made of velvet, chains and silk fringes. It is characterized by a golden beige field decorated with scrolls of scrolls and garlands of very refined fleur-de-lys drawn with great precision in polychrome framing a central rosette forming a flower petal with ivory, sky blue and cetadon diamond bars. Consists of four decorative spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion inlaid with a very symbolic pair of birds Seven borders including the main old gold with interlacing of floral bulbs surrounded by fine crenellated stems decorated with finely drawn multicolored flower buds Remarkable finesse Very good general condition Beautiful graphics Density approximately
