"Eight Lights Bronze Chandelier, Restoration Period, Early 19th Century"
An eight-light chandelier composed of a large patinated bronze basin, decorated in the lower part with a chiseled and gilded bronze rosette decorated with acanthus leaves ending in a seed, in the upper part with a cup antique on a gilded bronze pedestal; the basin is decorated with eight heads of ancient deities receiving eight branches carrying the bobeches. It is connected by four chains to the upper pavilion carrying the gilded bronze bail decorated with laurel leaves. French work Restoration Period circa 1810/1820.
