"The Washerwomen. Canvas Signed V. Colson."
Very pretty canvas representing washerwomen and women conversing on the steps of a house. beautiful fountain and foliage shading the residence. The canvas was well re-canvased previously, for two small (small) accidents. These accidents have been rather clumsily restored and it would be advisable to have them reworked by a restorer, it is not much, but I point it out. very nice dimensions, the canvas alone, 65 cm x 54 cm (15 P). In a superb original frame, 85 cm x 74 cm. It is a painting of good quality and a very charming subject.
