"Reliquary With Paste Of Relics And Its Twelve Martyrs - 18th Century"
We find in the center, a painted and then varnished medallion, in rare relic pastes, confirmed by mentions on the phylacteries “Di Piu, Pasta de Reliq Saint Martyr”. This is boiled paper with relic powder mixed into it. Our precious octagonal medallion, in the style of baptismal vats, is surrounded by twelve Holy Martyrs and in particular Saint Felicis, Ciriacx, Felicissimi, Christinae, Ciricae, Quirini, Modesti, Quirini, Desiderii. It is an Italian work from the 18th century, with a quilling mounting in gilded paper.
All in a gilded wooden frame with four episcopal seals on the back. Dimensions of 33 cm by 28. Used condition, some missing items.
