Blossier, an artist of Breton origin, travelled to Tunisia in 1949, during which time he probably composed this very fine gouache: interesting modulation of the background, the connection between the Bedouin and the colours of the ground and sky, and the contrast of the dromedary "cut out".
Condition report: minor wear, frame missing.
