17th Century Polychrome Carved Altar Altar Niche Decorated With Angels

Here is a pretty niche from the end of the 17th century. You will note that the polychromy is probably later, but old. The decoration includes a winged angel on the bottom and two on the top, a drape, two columns and a shell. Everything is beautifully made. For the condition, we report cracks and classic wear on this type of object. However, the niche remains in good general condition considering the period.
