"Miniature Of Lardemelle"
Very beautiful miniature in its original frame, never dismantled. Original inscription on the back of the frame: "De Lardemelle Marie Jacques Charles Born in Colmar on 08/29/1799 Died in Amélie-les-Bains on 03/12/1870" De Lardemelle joined the the bodyguards of Louis XVIII. He became lieutenant of the grenadiers of the horse guard. He subsequently became an accounting officer in Algeria and the Army of the Orient. Knight of the Legion of Honor, he will also be decorated with the Medidjie order.
