"Charming Pair Of Miniature Paintings - 18th Century"
On paper forming a pendant, our paintings of great finesse represent the Virgin Mary wearing crown and scepter and Saint Joseph carrying his spikenard staff. Both are accompanied by the Child, as Salvator Mundi in the first painting and blessing Joseph in the second. Our holy characters are surmounted by the Dove of the Holy Spirit in clouds, against a backdrop of a wooded landscape.Fresh polychromy, original frames and montages.
