Large covered vase in Nevers earthenware in a baluster shape and resting on a pedestal. This splendid vase is decorated on both sides with two beautiful animated scenes contained in two reserves. The foot, as well as the lid, are decorated with floral motifs. The two handles are large and roll-up. All of this work was carried out in blue camÎeu on a white background, in the factory of Jean Montagnon and bears on its reverse side his mark for the period 1937-1978 It also bears on one side the inscription “Guerche workshops” and on the other “August 15, 1943”.
