Beautiful hollow shell from white porcelain, display bowl for serving a table circa 1st Empire, or Restoration, white porcelain from Paris, modeled in strong relief, upper grip decorated of two dolphins or other legendary animal, head, fins and tails gold, like edge of the shell.
Overall,
gilding has held up, but shows reasonable wear and tear. Beautiful condition,
