"German Christ Early 17th Century"
Magnificent German Christ in fruit wood from the beginning of the 17th century. Represented with the crown of thorns, its very expressive face, the elongated body with fine details. High period sculpture of very good quality, in excellent general condition. Note: small losses at the extremities (fingers, toes), one leg glued back together, the torso with a few brown marks (probably traces of burning from a candle). Height: 25 cm Width: 22 cm
