Beautiful Pewter Bowl - Rouen, 18th Century

ECUELLE in pewter with console ears and nippled lid with daisy grip, engraved “with the trembling” of a residence, a vase of flowers and birds. Control mark: CC crowned / (17)71 / ROUEN.
Hallmark of Pierre Gaspard (DE) LAMARE received master in 1767.
Both elements are hallmarked.
Length: 29.5 cm.
ROUEN, From the years 1771 or 1772

Very good condition, it should also be remembered that the engraved bowls are in some way unique because they are individually chiselled.
The control at the vintage of 1773 is listed, this allows a precise dating
