The marvelous “column” calligraphy of the very graphic writing in ancient Japanese has always fascinated. These two soft books with cobalt blue binding are printed on reinforced rice paper for the cover, the main cover of which is affixed with the title in banners. Complete and in good condition, these pieces come to us as a curiosity from the Far East. They are complete and the printed characters are larger on the second book which also has on the cover page and at the end a print of a dreamlike landscape, two beautiful and moving pieces untouched by time and which fit in a suitcase there was once a time for the great journey to France....For me a mystery!
