The flight of this piece is incredible and the ornamentation, in particular of the base which on the front has a head with bat wings on an openwork base and very specific to Art Nouveau born at the very end of the 19th century in the north-eastern Europe, particularly in Austria, where people excelled in this field at the turn of the two centuries.
