Student of the Lycée Impérial De Bruxelles in period uniform. (Uniform of 1808) Oil painting on wood in very good original condition, frame with its original gilding, no retouching on the painting. Titled on the back: "Jules Frison student of the Lycée Impérial de Bruxelles 1806-1808" Measurement: 35cm x 27cm excluding original frame 52cm x 44cm with original frame Jules Frison, born in Antwerp in (1796-1864) member of Congress national, he participated in the Revolution of 1830, Iron Cross, Order of Léopold, Mayor of Lodelinsart for thirty years from 1830 to 1860. Note: it is very rare to find a painting with its original frame in this condition of the first empire.
