"Pair Of Louis XVI Sconces"
Beautiful pair of two-branched bronze sconces, finely chiseled and gilded representing cupids blowing trumpets.These sconces are decorated with acanthus leaves, rocases, ribbon knots and present at the lower part a pine cone (a pine cone is missing (see photo)).
Based on the famous model by Jean Hauré, sculptor, master foundryman, responsible for the Crown Furniture from 1784, commissioned for the Château de Saint Cloud.
Louis XVI style, made in France around 1870.
The pair is fully cleaned and electrified.
