Friedrich, the Danish painter E.A Petersen represents the fascination of an Inuit tribe in front of the grandiose spectacle of the Midnight Sun at the beginning of July at Ilulissat in Disco Bay in North Greenland. This site, now classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a central observation point for the resistance of icebergs to global warming.
