"Oak Hunting Sideboard, Stamped N. Duval"
Large presentation buffet called "hunting buffet" in natural oak. Model with double evolution door, i.e. two broken leaves allowing dishes to be presented. On either side are two small knife drawers. Rounded, molded front uprights; chapel paneled sides. Very beautiful period ironwork, superb cremone bolt. Beautiful top in red Flanders marble, with corbin beak. Parisian work from the mid-18th century. Stamped N. DUVAL (Nicolas Duval, master in Paris in 1743) one of the great specialists in this type of furniture
