- This Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurine was designed by Lotte Benter in 1911 for the Royal Copenhagen manufactory as part of a series of figurines depicting girls from different regions of Denmark. Each girl was modeled in traditional regional attire, with this young woman "Amager Girl Standing" - representing the island of Amager. The figurine was hand painted. - Signed with the Royal Copenhagen factory stamp in blue under cover of the three waves and the letters DN for the painter and the mold number 1251 in hollow and painted in green and the Royal Copenhagen stamp with a crown and the mention Denmark in green undercover and the signature of the artist Lotte Benter 1911 hollow under the base plus paper label from the porcelain distributor. - 20th century period around 1960-1970.
