Cardinal Bucket In Brass Dinanderie From The 19th Century.
I don't know what use could have been for this bucket bearing the arms of a cardinal, but if all its utilitarian objects were matched we can imagine that the rest must have been quite exceptional.
here is a superb brassware bucket in perfect condition.
be careful it is very large.
the brass work is magnificent:
it is decorated on one side with the arms of a very finely worked cardinal, also on the sides under the handles with magnificent devils' heads and at the back with a scene of an elongated zephyr taking Sun rays.
all decorated with floral motifs.
It is in remarkable condition and does not leak, it also weighs a lot with its original wrought iron handle.
the attachment points are impeccable.
you can use it without problem even as a champagne bucket in my opinion it will keep several bottles cool for a while.

a very beautiful piece which is out of the ordinary for collectors and coming from the trousseau of a mischievous cardinal who had great taste.
