"Louis XV Fire Corner Shepherdess"
Exceptional fireside shepherdess with orillons dating from the 18th century. An identical model but higher on legs (former Louis Burgat collection) stamped with LEROUGE (1757) is reproduced in the book "Les Sieges" by Guillaume Janneau, former administrator of national furniture. Beautiful seat of an unusual model. Perfect condition of the wood and the tapestry.
