A beautiful Grand Tour terracotta depicting the Dying Gaul. The Dying Gaul, also known as the Dying Galatians or the Dying Gladiators, is an ancient Roman marble recumbent statue now in the Capitoline Museum in Rome. The statue is a copy of a Greek sculpture, originally in bronze, from the Hellenistic period (323-31 BC)
