"Perfume Burner In Gilt Bronze From The Charles X Period, 19th Century."
Small incense burner, dating from the 19th century from the Charles X period, in gilded bronze. The gilded bronze set is made up of a finely chiseled decoration which presents a rich and fine ornamental work. The base, the front and rear faces of which are decorated with a bunch of grapes in the center of a garland of leaves, is placed on a round foot decorated with a frieze of flowers ending with a fine frieze of pearls. The cup decorated with a frieze composed of plant elements dotted with small bunches of grapes is supported by chains linked together in the mouth of the animal which carries the system and whose head completes the whole.
