Elegant Empire period ormolu bronze clock - ca 1815 - 1820. The allegorical subject is quite unusual, our clock represents the sunrise: the night as a winged nymph lifts the veil covering the dial of the clock.Very beautiful mercury gilding in matte and shiny, original wire movement which seems functional and complete (to be entrusted by a watchmaker for cleaning and start-up adjustments: service on request, contact us).
