This is one of his latest paintings. Carlotti really liked Abondance where he had acquired a chalet in his youth. It was a place of stay and meeting place for the whole of Paris of the arts that he encountered during his long Parisian career. Carlotti did not return to this village near the Swiss border until 2001, where a beautiful tribute was paid to him. Jean-Albert Carlotti was part of the fraternal group of the New in Lyon, in the admiration of their elders the Ziniars, with his friends, Jean Couty, Marc Aynard, Antoine Chartres, Pierre Pelloux, etc.
