Jean-Albert Carlotti (Lyon August 15, 1909 – Lyon April 19, 2002) “Abondance” (Haute-Savoie), April 2001, oil on canvas, 45 x 65 cm (with frame 63 x 82 cm) This is one of his latest paintings. Carlotti really liked Abondance where he had acquired a chalet in his youth. It was a place of stay and meeting place for the whole of Paris of the arts that he encountered during his long Parisian career. Carlotti did not return to this village near the Swiss border until 2001, where a beautiful tribute was paid to him.
