Tomb Commode Aux Espagnettes, Louis XV Period
Superb tomb chest of drawers inlaid with violet wood in four leaves. It opens with four drawers in three rows. Rich ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes decorated with foliage such as rosettes, handles, keyholes, falls topped with busts of women wearing a pearl necklace for one and a scarf for the other, clogs and base of lamp. She kept her locks with their original keys. Parisian work from the Louis XV period. peach blossom marble top molded with a corbin beak. Restoration carried out by an experienced cabinetmaker, varnished with a pad.
