Locré Manufacture: Complete Coffee Service For 12 Directoire Period Gilt Porcelain 17pcs

Porcelain coffee set for 12 guests composed of 17 pieces : a coffee pot, a teapot, a milk jug, a biscuit bowl, a sugar pot and 12 coffee cups and their saucer. Directoire period, late 18th century or circa 1800.

Two pieces have prestigious porcelain French Manufacture Locre's signature under the base.

Each piece is hand-decorated with fine gold gilt lines, various rich patterns, friezes and roses. The coffee pot's spout is eagle's-head-shaped.

Our set is in excellent condition avec 230 years. Gilt is outstandingly fresh. A crack on the sugar pot, a chip and a handle restored on one coffee cup. Other than this, no accident at all.
