"Monstrance Reliquary Of Saint Theodore – Circa 1700"
Saint Theodore Tiron or Theodore of Amassé, Megalomartyr was a Roman soldier beheaded in 303 at Euchaita.
A beautiful ex-ossibus relic of this Saint is bagged in the center of a glass ampoule. It is surrounded by two episcopal wax seals. The said bulb is even encased by four fluted columns surmounted by figures in high relief of the Theological Virtues.
A set green stone is placed on the upper part of the relic. The whole crowned with a holy character is in bronze and silver-plated metal.
The circular base has an engraved decoration of the Holy Shroud and the instruments of the Passion and the ovoid knot is decorated with plants.
