Sculpture the fisherman with the shell. Bronze brown patina medal. By Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux. Model No. 3 created in Rome in 1857. Signed JB Carpeaux and Carpeaux Property stamp on the terrace. This stamp means that this bronze was cast in the workshops of the Carpeaux foundry during his lifetime.Reproduced page 179 in the bronze dictionnary by Pierre Kjellberg .
