French school from the mid-19th century depicting a peasant scene where a child, accompanied by his mother, presents a flower to the apiary while protecting his face. Oil on exotic wood panel signed lower right “H. Blanc Fontaine 185…)" for Henri Blanc-Fontaine (1819-1897). 19th century frame in wood and gilded stucco.
