Fürstenberg, circa 1760
A very fine scalloped plate with a ribbed rim, decorated with scales in relief and arabesques. Painted decoration of insects and garlands of flowers. The centre is decorated with two birds to be identified.
The Fürstenberg Manufactory
Founded in 1747 under the aegis of the Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, it is still the second oldest German factory still in operation.

Condition report: very minor wear, a small chip on the heel.
