Pair of large salt shakers or salt cellars in solid silver from the Louis XVI period. Beautiful Louis XVI decor with pilasters and oak leaf garlands. Our salt shakers are from the 18th century and bear the hallmarks of the Farmers General of Paris and the letter date P crowned for the year 1778, 18th century Fermiers Généraux hallmarks and the hallmark of the master goldsmith. The salt shakers are fitted with 19th century blue crystal verrines, complemented by Louis XVI style salt spoons by Puiforcat. Beautiful model with a dense silver mount and beautiful collector's items for lovers of 18th century silverware, in excellent condition. Height: 4.5cm Diameter: 8cmx5.5cm Net silver weight: 132g
