Beautiful copy in 16 in three strong volumes in 16 in a half Empire binding in calfskin, smooth spine, gilt stamps titles, volume numbers and bands from the printer Elzevier 1634 in green maoquin, marbled boards with reinforced corners bright gold edges, marbled endpapers ( ex-libris with arms), comes from a castle in Touraine. This typographic performance by Jean Elzevier the King of Printers at the beginning of the 17th century is remarkable in quality for a famous Antique text by T. LIVII Patavini Historiervm AB VRBE CONDITA. Lugd. Batavorum (Lyon). Ex Officina Elséviriana 1634.
