E Roger & Baccarat (?): Magnificent Pair Of Crystal And Sterling Silver Bottles 19th - 20th

Superb pair of globular bottles mounted in silver.
These bottles were most likely intended to hold perfume or another precious toiletry lotion. They can also be used as a decanter for quality alcohol.

Each bottle is spherical, the body is entirely cut with diamond point patterns.
The base is carved with a star which may indicate manufacture by the famous Baccarat factory, which is reinforced by the extreme quality of the objects.

The upper part is covered with a large Louis XVI style frame made up of large water leaves alternating with flowers. It ends in a molded collar decorated with a crossed ribbon.
The stoppers are entirely in solid silver, the grip formed by a charming ribbon bow.

These bottles are absolutely superb and full of grace, they are of very high quality.

The frames are hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for 950/°° silver
. Goldsmith's mark: ER with a compass and a hammer for Emile Roger, active from 1893

Magnificent pair of top quality bottles, both in terms of the size of the crystal, the large, finely worked silver frame and their spherical shape.
