"Ottoman “chibouk” In “tophané” Land Türkiye 19th"
OTTOMAN "CHIBOUK" on the stove in glazed terracotta known as "tophané" with stamped plant decoration, bearing a manufacturer's stamp in Arabic and Latin characters "B. Fuchez, Constantinople" and decorated with dentiled gilded brass fittings. Pipe stem covered in green velvet and gilded and enameled brass plates with chiseled plant decoration. Amber tip. Turkey, circa 1900. The set is in very good condition and has hardly been used (in fact I think I am the only one to have used it a few times!).
