Karin Székessy (Essen, 1939-2010).
Between 1957 and 1959, Karin Székessy studied photography at the Institute of Photojournalism in Munich.
In 1959, she began taking photos of dolls, to which were added in 1963 portraits, portraits of artists, still lifes, landscapes and photographs of nudes. It is notably her nude photographs, at the center of Karin Székessy's work, which have earned her international fame.
1960-66 Feature photographer for Kristall magazine. Nude photographic correspondence from 1963 with Paul Wunderlich 1967 - 69 Teaching at the Werkkunstschule Hamburg, fashion department.
Since 1970 freelance photographer for international clients, titles (Ullstein 470 Covers), Spiegel, Graphis, Playboy, Architecture and Living, Phot, Twen, many years of freelance work in ZEITmagazin, Avantgarde and exhibitions in Germany and abroad . Karin Székessy was married to Paul Wunderlich from 1971 until his death in 2010.
